KIPP-DC

Ferebee Hope Recreation Center, Washington, DC

This new 18,500 SF recreation center is a replacement of the existing facility. Located in Ward 8, the design of the facility is integrated with the new KIPP campus. The amenities include a gymnasium, indoor family pool, technology center, fitness center, multipurpose room, and support spaces. Outdoor features include an outdoor court and playground with splash pad.



Fairfax County Public Schools

Justice High School Addition, Falls Church, VA

A 45,200 SF addition to an existing high school. The project consists of new laboratory/classroom facilities and a cafeteria expansion to meet the ED Specs requirements for a 2,200-student high school. The expansion is a three-level building to fit the tight site campus constraints.



Loudoun County

Aldie Fire Station #7, Aldie, VA

The new 20,000 SF career/volunteer station serves the Aldie area southwest of Loudoun County. The facility will have five drive thru bays and amenities to accommodate a staff of 16. The design incorporates gable roof forms with stone and stucco reflecting the historic character of the area.



Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC)

Multi-Gen Facility, Prince George’s County, MD

This M-NCPPC study involves three service areas in Prince George’s County. The facilities range from 80,000 SF to 90,000 SF which includes amenities such as community rooms, indoor pool, gymnasium, fitness areas (cardio and weights), group fitness rooms, and support spaces. The study includes site selection and program evaluation.



Loudoun County Public Schools

Eagle Ridge Middle School Addition, Ashburn, VA

The addition of approximately 12,000 SF to an existing middle school includes six typical classrooms, two science labs with shared prep room, and two special education resource spaces.



Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad

Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station #1

The new 22,800 SF volunteer station serves the Town of Gloucester and neighboring vicinity. The facility will have six drive thru bays and amenities to accommodate a staff of ten. The project also includes a separate 7,200 SF Training Hall. The building is designed to blend with the urban fabric and to serve as a landmark at the southern entry of the town.
