To provide a welcoming environment, DCPS upgraded the common space of the school. Hughes Group, working with the Principal and staff, developed a new corridor color scheme for each floor.  The color schemes were merged into the main lobby upgrades, which included a new control desk. Existing accent floor tiles in each corridor were carefully removed and replaced with new color accents. Upgrades to the multi-purpose hall adjacent to the lobby included a new paint scheme, new tile flooring and stage curtain repairs. The staff parking lot was reconfigured to provide additional parking. Hughes Group provided on-call construction administration services to expedite the work.
